The Maelstrom

Deep within one of the most dangerous caverns on earth, a bacteria has been found unlike any life form known to science. Dr. Susan Brighton has formed a research team to enter the Maelstrom, but needs an expert guide. Alan Manning, who originally mapped the cave, has lost two friends in the Maelstrom and has not been back in fifteen years. He reluctantly agrees to lead the team, but none of them knows about the lethal nature of the bacteria or of the people who have died on the surface.
