Sex, Lies, and Survey Tape

Intro: No, there isn't any sex in this book, although there is romance. The publisher liked the title, and I guess he was right, because you are reading this. Don't just set it back down because there is some cave tales in here.

May things in this book appeared in grotto publications and even a little bit in Speleodigest, but I am sure a lot of you haven't seen this material. I caved a lot in the late 60's, and during the 70's, then slacked off a bit in the in 1982 when a cave flood in Fisher Ridge dampened my interest. But in 1992 some cavers in the Dayton Underground Grotto got me interested again and I am happy to report that, although I have passed the half century mark, I'm back underground pushing all my old favorite projects in Pulaski County, KY and Pickett and Fentress Counties, TN. Scooping and mapping too.

So what in here? I have written fiction, most of it recently, and most of it hangs together to form a series of cave horror fiction. There's humor articles, flood stories, a few notable trip reports, and a section called Tales From the Field house which is a short collection of shorter events.
