Onondaga is just one of the over 6700 or so caves known in Missouri. Each cave has its own unique development, cave deposits, ecosystems, and personality. Onondaga is on the top of the list in fantastic wonders of nature. The natural history has gone through several million years of development while the human history is actively still going on since the 1886 discovery.
